Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy is designed to reduce abuse risk for an AI commerce product connected to messaging, AI search, and Shopify workflows.
1. General rule
You may use Laris only for lawful, authorized, safe, and commercially reasonable purposes. You may not use Laris in a way that harms people, violates rights, damages systems, degrades the service, circumvents limits, breaches platform rules, or creates legal or security risk for Laris, merchants, customers, or third parties.
2. Prohibited conduct
- Illegal, deceptive, fraudulent, defamatory, harassing, hateful, abusive, exploitative, or discriminatory activity.
- Spam, unsolicited messaging, unlawful marketing, scraping contact lists, or messaging users without required opt-ins.
- Misleading product claims, fake reviews, impersonation, counterfeit goods, unsafe goods, or policy-violating commerce.
- Collection or processing of sensitive data unless legally permitted, necessary, disclosed, and expressly supported by your agreement with Laris.
- Use for medical, legal, financial, eligibility, credit, employment, housing, insurance, safety-critical, emergency, or other high-risk decisions without express written approval.
- Attempts to reverse engineer, probe, scan, overload, bypass access controls, exfiltrate data, extract models, or interfere with the service.
- Use of AI outputs to deceive people into believing they are speaking to a human where disclosure is required by law or platform policy.
- Uploading malware, secrets you do not own, payment card data outside approved flows, or content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights.
3. Messaging and commerce channels
You are responsible for compliance with WhatsApp, Instagram, Shopify, email, SMS, website chat, advertising, and AI provider rules. You must maintain lawful consent, opt-out processes, accurate sender identity, truthful product information, and compliant support and refund practices.
4. Enforcement
Laris may investigate suspected violations and may remove content, disable features, suspend integrations, throttle usage, block traffic, terminate accounts, report illegal conduct, or preserve information where reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, third parties, or legal rights.
